What is galmaegisal (skirt meat)?
Galmaegisal is the pork diaphragm skirt, a cut with deep flavour and a chewy, tender texture. Gokiseok serves it whole and thick-cut, sourced fresh from Majang-dong, Seoul's meat market.
What are the prices?
Whole Skirt Meat is ₩28,000 for a 400g plate or ₩14,000 for a 200g half plate (₩7,000 per 100g). Pork Collar (Gabrisal) is ₩39,000 / ₩20,000 and Pork Neck (Moksal) is ₩35,000 / ₩18,000. Steamed egg and noodles are ₩5,000 each, soju ₩5,000, beer ₩6,000.
Is the crab stew really free?
Yes. The Spicy Crab Soft-Tofu Stew (a ₩9,000 menu item) comes as one complimentary pot per table for every party, on every visit, not only the first.
Do the staff grill the meat for us?
No. Gokiseok is a self-grill restaurant: guests grill the meat themselves at the table. A step-by-step grilling guide is placed on every table.

Mon to Sat 17:30 to 21:30 (last order 21:00), closed Sundays.
